Wushi Harbor is named after the Wushi (Black Rock) reefs.
「烏石港」之名源自港區內的多處灰黑色硬頁岩礁石而得名。烏石港自歷史文獻出現以來，歷經兩個多世紀的變遷，已從港口成為濕地，但烏石礁仍矗立原址，見證「石港春帆」的歷史變遷與滄海桑田。
The name “Wushi Harbor” (Black Rock Harbor) originates from several dark grey hard shale reefs within the harbor area. Since its appearance in historical records, Wushi Harbor has undergone over two centuries of change, transforming from a port into a wetland. However, the Wushi reefs still stand in their original location, as witnesses to the historical shifts of “Sails at Wushi Harbor in Spring” and the passage of time.
